HUNTING SEASONS

Glasscock Island hunts consist of 2 hunts per day. In the morning guests will choose from either deer hunting or duck hunting. In the afternoon, guests will deer hunt only (no afternoon duck hunts are allowed). Guests that will be duck hunting must bring proper footwear, which should consist of chest high waders. Guests that plan on duck hunting need to be prepared to spend up to 3 hours standing in cold water, with some walking possible. Glasscock duck hunting does not consist of hunting out of blinds. Most duck hunts are in flooded timber. Neoprene waders are recommended for this type of hunting. Guests should bring their own ammunition, guns, and clothing. LHC Group / Glasscock Lodge supplies food, beverage, bedding, and general amenities. All other general hunting gear must be brought by the guest.
