GLASSCOCK ISLAND MAP AND DIRECTIONS

Directions

For general directions, use MapQuest.com and place Deer Park, LA as your final destination. Glasscock Island Road is 3 miles north of Deer Park on Hwy 15. 

A Glasscock Island sign will be posted on Highway 15, 3 miles north of deer park. The sign will be placed in clear view from Hwy 15 at the base of the levee  (at the time of your arrival, you may find the sign down, but there will be orange flagging on sticks to let you know that you have reached the correct turnover).  From here, employees / guests will follow the gravel road 1 mile to the check in station (at which point you will need to walk up to the trailer and sign in), then continue approximately 6 additional miles to the campground area. Once at the open campground area employees / guests will find arrowed signs leading them to the LHC Group Lodge located on the south side of the campground area.
